Bareclay is proud to offer the following class options for all students, all skill levels, all ages.
3 Week Adult Sessions: In these classes, adults are given full immersion in the ceramic arts. Classes are small and individual attention is given. I can teach you how to throw on the potter's wheel or be an amazing hand builder. (or both...) Glazing and kilns are also covered.
Adult Themed Workshops: Come in for a ONE TIME clay experience. We offer varied topics such as TEAPOTS, TILES, GLAZING, etc. In these workshops, work is usually left behind for either one or two additional firings. Allow 2-3 weeks for work to be finished.
Open Studio: Buy either one or two hours of studio time. I will show you where things are and turn you loose! Clay is available for an additional fee. Kids who have never been here or who are young may need an adult to stay and supervise. I do not do demos for Open Lab. It is a self-directed studio experience.
Workshops for Children: From Holiday "Secret" workshops where kiddos make gifts for parents to Little Pumpkins, our Kid's Workshops are taught by a pottery mom. These workshops are VERY popular.
Parent (or Grandparent, Uncle, etc...) and Child Workshops: Do the wheel together. Awesome.
In addition to these regular classes, we also offer Special events such as Senior Workshops, Special Needs classes, Home school Classes, Merit Badge Workshops, School Field Trips and Parties (showers, birthdays, corporate events). Please email Lisa for the current class selection or to schedule a special event!
